Stamping with Friends Blog Hop: 2020-2022 In Colors

Today I am participating in the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop! The theme is our RETIRING 2020-2022 In Colors: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, and Misty Moonlight. You may see posts from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world in this blog hop--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US and those with APO/FPO addresses, so prices on any links are in USD)

As of just prior to the publishing of this post, it appears that all of the RETIRING items I have used, are still in stock in the US!!! If you buy nothing else, be sure you grab the Tasteful Labels Dies. They are 20% OFF, and I don't feel like there's really a great replacement for them in the upcoming new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, which debuts May 3rd. {you'll find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post}

Tasteful Labels Dies

The Best Year Stamp Set is another of those stamp sets I felt like I had to have - but I just never inked up any of the stamps until today. It's full of such a great variety of greetings, you might want to grab this set before it's gone. All of the greetings from the Best Year Stamp Set will fit in at least one of the Tasteful Labels Dies, so they make a great pairing.

The Parisian Fluorish 3D Embossing Folder is really the star of this card. It has a really classy, dressy look, without being all froo-froo and frilly. All I did to make this design was cut a piece from each of the 4 colors at 4"x1-1/4", then I lined those pieces up side by side in the embossing folder and carefully ran that through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I lined up all the strips so the design flowed from one piece to the next, and adhered them onto the card base. TIP: Line up the center of your card front with the centering lines on your Grid Paper, and then line up your two center embossed strips so they meet right at the vertical center of your card.
