Wow, being in pain totally SUCKS. Big duh, I know...but this is a special kind of suckiness. I've mentioned it a couple times before, here and there, but I've been dealing with Trigeminal Neuralgia for almost 20 years now. The first time was almost 8 years straight, and since then it's been a flare up once in a while, that I thought I'd figured out how to get under control fairly quickly. The last couple/few times, it has been challenging, and I've had to try new things. It came back in March, and once again it took a new arsenal. I'm always amazed at how poorly my brain functions on severe pain, it's kinda frightening how stupid I can get so quickly. I'm finally out of pain on a daily basis, and even though the condition itself is not degenerative, three to four weeks of pain and couch-lock really wear the body out. There's a lot of rest to catch up on, and I'm still working back up to having a full day's worth of energy. Blah, blah, blah, enough of that...here's an Easter card I managed to make and send to my son. (my daughter got a "pink" version of this card, but without the glittery ribbon)
In the picture, you can see the edge of the Easter Lamb stamp, with the index sticker for the greeting. This is available ONLY as a single wood-mount stamp, but I cut the greeting away and mounted it on the other skinny end of the wood block, and mounted the lamb by itself on the large surface of the same block. I like being able to use the lamb alone, because it's perfect for baby cards, or even just a "happy spring" card, or a fun "thank ewe" or "I love ewe" card. Super adorable and versatile, especially if you grab the Alphabet Rotary Stamp along with it.
