Easter Envelope Ghirardelli Squares Holder

Just a quick photo share...I'll be back tomorrow with a FREE Printable for you, so you can make these yourselves.  I slaved all morning in My Digital Studio, so you don't have to!!! They are purposefully not froo-froo and frilly, so you can just make up a bunch of them whether you want to hand them out to girls OR boys. Aside from the printable, all you'll need are some snips and glue, a standard A2 envelope (4-3/8" x 5.75"), which is the size of any of our Medium Envelopes (Crumb Cake - like I used, Very Vanilla, or Whisper White), and a couple of Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares to tuck inside. FYI: the printable will give you supplies for four treat holders on an 8-1/2" x 11" page.

Meet me back here tomorrow for your FREE Printable, and a quick photo tutorial!

Bunny Punch Art Twitterpated Easter Cards

Okay, these are pretty simple cards, but I was pretty proud of myself for figuring out the color scheme, how to make them from scratch, and finishing both cards (including writing messages in them)--ALL in less than 30 minutes!

My kids are one boy and one girl, so I usually make the same card for them for Easter, and just use different color combos for each. On these cards, the different colors are Pool Party, and Pink Pirouette. I was really pleased to be able to use some of my Twitterpated Designer Series Paper on these cards, too! It's pretty easy to figure out what I did, just by looking at the supplies and then looking at the cards, but if you need any help just leave a comment or email me.

Stampin' Supplies: Crumb Cake card stock, Pool Party card stock, Pink Pirouette card stock, Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, Delightful Dozen stamp set (Easter greeting) wood-mount or clear-mount, Basic Black ink pad, Blossom Petals Builder Punch (long skinny shape for ears), 1-1/4" Circle Punch (for head), XL Oval Punch (cut to 1-1/2" high for body), Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (round scallop for tail), Small Oval Punch (eggs), Tombow Multipurpose Glue, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Snips (for notch in greeting pennant), Stampin' Trimmer.

This and That Epic Day Digital Download!

WOW! This totally rocks...if you don't know about Stampin' Up!'s new This and That product line, make sure to read THIS POST from yesterday (and don't forget to enter to Win a Free Trip to San Diego). What has me totally excited all over again today, is the This and That Epic Day Digital Download. It features ALL the Epic Day artwork/product in digital form!!! People, do you get what this means? It means you don't ever, ever have to worry about running out of coordinating stickers, patterned paper, or any consumable for your journal, because you can just pop into your digital artwork and print out MORE! Sweet.

Stamps, and Paper, and Stickers...oh my!

In this download you get: a 22-piece SVG stamp brush set, 12 Designer Series Papers, and a whopping 101 embellishments! So, here's the cool part...you can use this digital artwork with any graphic editing program, for a MAC or a PC, that can handle SVG and JPG images. But, if you use that software, you're gonna have to figure a bunch of stuff out all by yourself. Fortunately for you, that is totally not necessary--Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio software is at your service, at the phenomenally LOW PRICE of $19.95! Yeah, you can do the 30-day Free Trial first if you want, but with the full software at such a low price for keeps, why bother with the inconvenience of getting "timed out"? The software comes with over $500 in content, and it will handle all your additional downloads...wait for it...EPICALLY!

But seriously, there are a bazillion free videos showing you how to get started with My Digital Studio (MDS), plus another quadrillion beginner, intermediate, and advance technique videos. Yeah, I exaggerate for emphasis, but there are a LOT. I have put together some My Digital Studio YouTube Playlists for you, so you don't even have to go find them yourself. You're welcome :-)

Last Minute Sale-a-Brating with Pretty Petites & Petite Curly Label!

I wanted to give some chocolate to a gal who was coming over to pick up some catalogs from me (hi Judy!) so I made what I think must be the fastest treat holder I have EVER come up with. Seriously, this takes like 90 seconds to make--including primping the bow:

Ghirardelli Creamy Devotion for one, coming right up!
Super easy...just cut out the Apothecary Accent Framelit (largest shape), then run through the Big Shot with the Chevron Embossing Folder, fold shape in half, punch hole at top, slide Ghirardelli Chocolate Square inside, and tie Seam Binding around and through the hole in a bow. Add the stamped & punched image with a Stampin' Dimensional. Done.

Stampin' Supplies: Crumb Cake card stock 120953, Whisper White Card stock 100730, Marina Mist ink pad 126962, Apothecary Accents Framelits 127003, Chevron Embossing Folder 127749, Big Shot 113439 (for Framelits and Embossing Folder) 1/16" Hole Punch 101227 (or hole punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack 118309), Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon 122331, Stampin' Dimensionals 104430, Pretty Petites stamp set (SAB Freebie), Petite Curly Label Punch (SAB Freebie).

2013 Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit

So, you're still on the fence about Paper Pumpkin? Let me walk you through the Welcome Kit, and show you what you're missing (if you are reading this in email, please click on this blog post's title to view the video in your browser):

There are a few items I used in the video, which are not in the Welcome Kit, they are: Paper Snips, SNAIL Adhesive, and Mini Glue Dots. There are a couple more useful items I didn't show, and those are: Stamp-a-ma-jig (if you aren't getting the exact placement of your stamped images on your projects that you would like), Stampin' Scrub (to clean your stamps before putting them away), and Stampin' Mist (cleaning solution to spray on your Stampin' Scrub). You may also be interested in storing your Paper Pumpkin stamps in our Clear-Mount Stamp Cases.

Click on MyPaperPumpkin.com to subscribe and receive your Monthly Kits,
and be sure to choose Kimberley Morris (Colorado Springs, CO) as your demonstrator!

Paper Pumpkin subscribers who choose me as their demonstrator will receive a link to a Free Printable Insert they can use to label their Clear-Mount Stamp Cases, as well as other perks, including: Coronation Gifts, Glass Slipper Surprise Gifts, Paper Pumpkin Royalty Rewards, Plump Your Pumpkin Exclusive Offers, and Two Private Videos Monthly--one to walk through the kit project assembly (like the one above), and one with instructions for alternate layouts/projects using the kit supplies, and even some of the packaging!

Some quick tidbits for current Paper Pumpkin subscribers: Think twice before you throw away the box your kit came in, as it makes handy storage for your supplies. Just set it up on the shelf like a book, and label the "spine". Consolidate multiple kit supplies in one box before you start using another, to optimize space. Consider keeping the chipboard pieces the supplies are sandwiched in, you can use those on other projects! You can even use the clear plastic case the acrylic block comes in, to make yet another project.

More Feeling Sentimental Cards

URGENT: ONLY TEN DAYS LEFT TO EARN YOUR FREE SALE-A-BRATION STAMP SETS!!!

My favorite FREE Sale-a-Bration stamp set is Feeling Sentimental. Here are some more simple cards from that set, as a follow up from my original Stationery Folder & Cards Tutorial.

Yeah, I drew the TARDIS top on with a Black Stampin' Write Marker :-D

Almost too froo-froo for me, but very sweet!

Mmmmm...Midnight Muse meets Telephone Box.

Stamp 3 times, without reinking between, and set the wheels in motion.

SHOP NOW to earn your FREE Sale-a-Bration product for every $50 spent!
