Third Thursdays Blog Hop - Gratitude & Gatherings

Welcome once again to our Third Thursdays Blog Hop! This month our theme for the hop is Gratitude & Gatherings! Our posts will feature projects related to anything related to Thanksgiving, gratitude, family or friend gatherings, or anything along those lines.
{you'll find Product Purchase Links for current items I've used, below the Blog Roll}

My life has been ridiculous in the last few weeks, so I'm just popping up a really quick card. It's SOOO easy to make a simple, beautiful card with Stampin' Up!'s coordination. For this card, I've let the 12"x12" Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper take center stage. The pumpkin and squash are from one design in the package, and the wood grain/fabric (that the greeting is stamped on) are front/back designs from the same sheet. There are 2 each of 6 different designs in the package, and one side of each sheet has metallic highlights on it.

The patterned paper makes coordination all that much easier, by listing the coordinating Stampin' Up! colors on the back of the chipboard piece that protects the papers in its packaging. From that list, I chose the Cajun Craze Ink Pad, the Cajun Craze Cardstock, and used the neutral StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad for the greeting. Because the greeting mentions "a grateful heart", I wanted to stamp some hearts in the background. I stamped OFF once on my Grid Paper before stamping those in the background so they would be a little lighter. Fortunately, all the images I used on this card come from ONE stamp set - the Banner Year Photopolymer Stamp Set

To add a little more bling, I backed the pumpkin/squash strip with a piece of the Gold Foil Sheets, added a couple of orange colored Holiday Rhinestones, punched the cardstock with the Tailored Tag Punch, and finished it off with the gold trim and mesh cotton ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.

Stampin' Supplies: Banner Year Photopolymer Stamp Set, Sahara Sand Cardstock (for card base), Cajun Craze Cardstock and Ink Pad, StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad, Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper, Metallic Gold Foil Sheets, Tailored Tag Punch, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, Holiday Rhinestone Assortment (a couple of orange-ish ones), Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' SEAL Adhesive, Paper Snips, Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps), Grid Paper, Stampin' Trimmer. And don't forget Very Vanilla or Whisper White Medium Envelopes if you will be mailing!

Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Holidays

Welcome to the November 2020 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects from around the world--but I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is Holiday! My projects feature the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set, along with the Plaid Tidings 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, and my new Baker's Dozen Template that I mentioned in THIS post. {you'll find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post}

I've not been able to get graphics together for you yet, for my Baker's Dozen Template...hoping to get that out soon. But right now I am attending a virtual Stampin' Up! event called #OnStageAtHome, so my attention is focused there. The event ends Saturday, so maybe I can get something to you on Sunday, fingers crossed!

As you can see, I just fashioned these cards after the ones I made on my previous post, except I used the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set for the greetings and images, instead of the Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin Kit stamp set. And, for these cards, I also added a little bit of bling, where I left the others a bit more plain to ensure they were flat for mailing. I decided to give one some gold bling, and the other some silver bling!

 The Elegant Faceted Gems made this super easy, because the gems in the package include silvery ones, golden ones, and there are also some white/frosted ones. The gold trim in the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack works great for the gold one, and the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon works great for the silver one.

Stampin' Supplies: Celebration Tidings Photopolymer Stamp Set, Whisper White Cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and Ink Pad, Plaid Tidings 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, Snowflake Splendor Ribbon, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (gold trim), Elegant Faceted Gems, Stampin' Seal Adhesive, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Grid Paper, Paper Trimmer (to cut and score cardstock), Simply Shammy (to clean Photopolymer stamps). {see Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll}

We Create Blog Hop - Bundle Up!

Welcome to the NOVEMBER 2020 "Bundle Up!" Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month our projects will be either featuring one of Stampin' Up!'s great BUNDLES, or just something with a warm and cozy bundled-up feel to it.
{scroll to the bottom of this post for ALL product purchase links}

When I think of bundling up, sweaters and plaid flannel shirts come to mind. I have been having serious issues lately, having enough energy to get things done, so I decided to keep my cards simple. These are just a couple of the 13 cards you can make with the tweaks I've added to the Double Wonder Template, which uses 4 sheets of 6"x6" patterned paper.

I took 4 cozy fall-looking plaids from the Plaid Tidings 6"x6" Designer Series Paper stack. You could easily step-up your cards using more supplies, but one of the benefits of the Double Wonder Template is cranking out a nice handful of cards in a short amount of time, so I've limited my designs today to stamps, paper, and ink.

I will share the other 11 cards with you later...maybe tomorrow...hopefully along with a PDF of my Double Wonder Template, so you can follow along with your own supplies at home. This would be fun to do on a Livestream together sometime. I'm thinking of calling my tweaked template the Baker's Dozen Template, since you can get 13 cards from it!

And that reminds me, if you want to see all my new blog posts when they come out, you can SIGN UP FOR BLOG UPDATES BY EMAIL and they will come right to your Inbox.

Stampin' Supplies: Celebration Tidings Stamp Set, Cinnamon Cider Cardstock, Crumb Cake Cardstock, StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad, Plaid Tidings 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, Stampin' SEAL Adhesive (and/or Multipurpose Liquid Glue), Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Trimmer, Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps), Grid Paper.
