We Create Blog Hop - Haunts & Harvests

Welcome to the OCTOBER 2021 "Haunts & Harvests" Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month the focus of our projects will be anything associated with Fall, Harvests, Halloween, etc. I chose to feature the September 2021 Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Kit, and I'm sharing an alternate project I made with it.
{scroll to the bottom of this post for ALL product purchase links}

I created a witch...its hat tips back as the lid to this little container. The kit had enough supplies to make 12 treat boxes, and I used the supplies for 2 treat boxes to make this container...one for the face, and one for the hat. I set aside the adhesive pieces that came in the kit, and instead opted to use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to assemble my container. You will also need the StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad to color one of the die cut containers for the hat.

As you can see from the side angle below, the hat is hinged on the inside back of the bottom part. Although the ordering period for the Haunts & Harvest kit has passed, you could still get the Refill for the Haunts & Harvest Kit (if you have an email address signed up for Paper Pumpkin), and that would include all the pieces I used for this project.

And here's a closeup of the face...the nose was made from one of the die cut leaves in the Paper Pumpkin kit. Everything else on the face was made from bits that were cut off the two treat boxes. It was kind of fiddly cutting and adhering the tiny parts of the eyes and mouth, and I wouldn't make these for just anyone - but it actually wasn't all that hard. The Take Your Pick Tool was the key!

Stampin' Supplies: September 2021 Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Kit or Refill, StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (optional - to adhere the eyes), Take Your Pick Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Grid Paper.

Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Wood Grain

Welcome to the OCTOBER 2021 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects in our hop from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so prices are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is Wood Grain! I'm featuring the September 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit, Haunts & Harvest. {you'll find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post}

The September 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit came in a woodgrain box, and there was a bonus project of a wheelbarrow, with its pieces printed on the inside of the box. You can watch the YouTube video to see what that wheelbarrow assembly looks like HERE.

I made a crate with some of the pieces of that woodgrain box that were not used for the wheelbarrow. I put the front and back slats together by adhering a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock across the bottom of this box. The brown tissue paper also came in the kit. All I added were the Round & Square Brads (black) to connect the sides of the box to the front and back.

If you'd like to make the little pumpkin treat boxes, you can purchase the Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Refill from My Online Store. You will need to have an email signed up for Paper Pumpkin in order to purchase any past kits or refills, and you can enter that email address on a Paper Pumpkin account HERE. You will get all the consumables to make the treat boxes in that Refill, but you will not get the Soft Succulent Ink Pad, or the stamp set with the leaf veins or the greetings that you see on mine. But you will get the labels, and leaf die cuts, as well as the raffia wire!

Stampin' Supplies: September 2021 Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin kit, Soft Succulent Ink Pad (the same color Stampin' Spot was included in the full kit), Crumb Cake Cardstock, Round & Square Brads, Multipurpose Liquid Glue (optional). I also used a Hobby Blade/Exacto Knife with a self-healing mat to trim the pieces. {see Product Purchase Links near the bottom of the post}
