A Paper Pumpking Thing Blog Hop - Change is Beautiful

Welcome to our APRIL 2022 #APaperPumpkinThing Blog Hop. Each month we share alternate projects using Stampin' Up!'s Paper Pumpkin Kit! We usually hop on the last Thursday of the month.

My alternate project for the April kit is a Double Z Fold Card. I tried to stay pretty close to just the kit supplies, but I did add a little bit of Basic White Thick Cardstock, Granny Apple Green Cardstock, and I used some Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Below you'll see a picture of the kits projects, if they were put together according to the kit instructions:

{you'll find product purchase links beneath the Blog Roll, near the bottom of the post}

Our Paper Pumpkin kit for April was called Change is Beautiful. It came with supplies to create 9 cards that fit in a standard size envelope, 3 each of 3 different patterns. Two of the patterns were Z Fold Cards, and one was a regular foldover card. I took one of the Z Fold Cards and added another small Z layer with Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

I was able to do a walkthrough of this kit on my Facebook Business Page last night. If you click on the image below, it should take you right to that video. I do quite a thorough job with my walkthroughs, so you can just grab your kit and work right along with me if you'd like!

Stampin' Supplies: April Change is Beautful Paper Pumpkin Kit, Basic White Thick Cardstock, Granny Apple Green Cardstock, Melon Mambo Ink Pad (ink spot in this color is included in the kit),Stampin' Dimensionals (included in kit), Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, Take Your Pick Tool (optional), Bone Folder (optional), Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Grid Paper, Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps).

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - Beyond the Horizon

Welcome to our MARCH 2022 #APaperPumpkinThing Blog Hop. Each month we share alternate projects using Stampin' Up!'s Paper Pumpkin Kit! We usually hop on the last Thursday of the month, but there were some delays in March kit deliveries so we postponed until today.

My alternate project for the March kit is a paper shadow box. I didn't add too much to the kit - the frame is just a single sheet of 8-1/2"x11" Misty Moonlight Cardstock, scored to fold in on all sides with the Paper Trimmer. I also used some Multipurpose Liquid Glue for some of my assembly, but you could use the little Mini Glue Dots that are included in the kit. And I added the Cloud Punch to punch some of the textured die cut layers from the kit.

{you'll find product purchase links beneath the Blog Roll, near the bottom of the post}

Our Paper Pumpkin kit for March was called Beyond the Horizon. It came with supplies to create 9 cards that fit in a standard size envelope, 3 each of 3 different patterns. This kit coordinates with the New Horizons Suite Collection from the Stampin' Up! 2022 January-June Mini Catalog. Above is a picture of how the cards would look if you make them according to the kit directions.

I was able to do a walkthrough of this kit on my Facebook Business Page the other morning. If you click on the image above, it should take you right to that video. I do quite a thorough job with my walkthroughs, so you can just grab your kit and work right along with me if you'd like!

Stampin' Supplies: March 2022 Beyond the Horizon Paper Pumpkin Kit, Misty Moonlight Ink Pad (ink spot in this color is included in the kit), Misty Moonlight Cardstock, Cloud Punch, Iridescent Rhinestones (included in the kit), Mini Glue Dots (included in kit), Stampin' Dimensionals (included in kit), Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, Take Your Pick Tool (optional), Bone Folder (optional), Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Grid Paper, Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps).
