Global Stamping Friends Extraordinary Blog Hop - New and Carrying Over

Welcome to the April 2019 EXTRAORDINARY Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop, featuring our upcoming NEW and Carrying Over Products! You'll see projects from around the world--but I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, but this is an Extra-Ordinary hop! For this hop, I featured the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set, which WILL be carrying over into the NEW Stampin' Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog...debuting June 4th. {you'll find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post!}

You can see the two stamps I used from the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set, sitting on each side of the Bunny Treat Cup. These are made with some 4oz espresso sample cups/lids that I bought online a while back, but I show the Stampin' Up! Sweet Cups in my tutorial video below, and they look like they will work just fine also. However, the Sweet Cups are RETIRING and available only while supplies last...so make sure you SHOP NOW to get yours!

The Gingham Gala 6"x6" Designer Series Paper is also RETIRING, as well as the Powder Pink Cardstock I used for the nose and inside of the ears, and the Powder Pink Ink Pad I used to ink up my Sponge Dauber to make the rosy little cheeks.

Other supplies you'll want to buy right away that I used on this project that are RETIRING are the 3/4" Circle Punch, as well as the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. If you don't already have all the punches in the Last-Chance Products section of My Online Store, just get them now...seriously. You can use them for SOOOOO many awesome punch art projects, you will be kicking yourself later when you see something you want to recreate once the RETIRING punches are no longer available. I speak from experience.

I made a tutorial video for this project the other day on My Facebook Business Page, and you can go directly to the video by clicking the picture below. These Bunny Treat Cups are SUPER easy to make, and they are not just for Easter! There is a 'Thank You' saying in the stamp set that looks adorable if you stamp it on a Balmy Blue Cardstock banner which you adhere to a skewer that you cut to about 4-1/2" long, and then poke the skewer through the lid of the Sweet Cups. (I just stuck the banner/skewer down in the sippy hole on the espresso cup lid I used for my sample)

Third Thursdays Blog Hop - A Fond Farewell

Welcome once again to our Third Thursdays Blog Hop! This month our theme for the hop is A Fond Farewell! We will be featuring products that will be RETIRING from our catalogs on June 3, 2019...in preparation for the debut of the NEW Stampin' Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog on June 4th!!! I am featuring the Foxy Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set today. There is a Fox Builder Punch that coordinates with this set, although I didn't use it on this card. The greetings are from another set that will be leaving, called Amazing Life.
{you'll find individual Product Purchase Links for the items I used, below the Blog Roll}

You will find several files just above the Next button on my post today, which will provide you with lists of the RETIRING product in both PDF and Excel formats. For your convenience, both the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog PDF, and the 2019 Occasions Catalog PDF are also available under the Next button in this post. You can also find the RETIRING products in the Last-Chance Products section of My Online Store...however, just a word of warning, the product(s) will not show up in a search if they are SOLD OUT.

Another tip on the RETIRING products, is that the stamp sets are guaranteed to be available for order through May 24th, since Stampin' Up! manufactures those themselves. However, all other products are while supplies last!!! Generally the outgoing ink and paper products sell out first, so if you'd like any of the 2017-2019 In Color Products, make sure to grab those ASAP! The Ink Refills generally sell out first, followed by Ink Pads, and Cardstock, and then usually the Markers. I am urging you to SHOP NOW to get all the items you want before they are gone!

As I said, the Foxy Friends Stamp Set, the Amazing Life Stamp Set, and the Fox Builder Punch are RETIRING, but the rest of the products I've used on this card will be carrying over, including the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. Another small note on RETIRING stamp sets...we will no longer be carrying wood-mount stamps starting June 4th, 2019. So, you may see some stamp sets listed as RETIRING on the lists, but check for an asterisk (*) to see if only the wood-mount version of the set is RETIRING. If you have any questions, feel free to email me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Stampin' Supplies: Foxy Friends stamp set (RETIRING), coordinating Fox Builder Punch (not used on this card but also RETIRING), Amazing Life stamp set (RETIRING), Very Vanilla Cardstock, Crumb Cake Cardstock and ink pad, Basic Black Cardstock, StazOn Jet Black ink pad (or Memento Tuxedo Black, if you prefer), Cajun Craze ink pad, Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, Burlap Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Paper Snips, Stampin' Trimmer (for cutting & scoring), Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps).

Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Neutrals

Welcome to the April 2019 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop, featuring our NEUTRALS color collection! You'll see projects from stampers from around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month! For this hop, I chose to keep it simple, and stick to one stamp set - Better Together. {you'll find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post!}

I've still been having challenges with my health, so my card for today's hop is going to be simple! I love that our Neutrals Color Collection includes Night of Navy. Neutrals are so great for masculine cards, and Night of Navy is the perfect companion to Sahara Sand. Very crisp and clean. I popped up the layered greeting with Stampin' Dimensionals to keep it at the forefront.

You'll notice a bit of "stamping off" with this card. I did that to show that you can get depth from using just one ink pad. To get the lighter colored stamping on this card, I actually stamped off TWICE onto my Grid Paper before stamping on the cardstock. Stamping off off only once didn't give me as much of a noticeable difference as I wanted, so that's why I did it twice. I didn't use any alignment tools for the stamping, I just eyeballed it.

The Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine makes a great coordinating accent, and it is very inexpensive. I tied the twine in a square knot instead of a bow to keep the card more on the masculine side. Then I sort of unraveled the twine a bit, because I think it made it look kind of like the little fuzzy tops of the party hats stamped below it. The entire bottom Sahara Sand card layer is also popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals, to give the twine some clearance where I wrapped it around the back of that layer.

Stampin' Supplies: Better Together stamp set, Night of Navy Cardstock, Sahara Sand Cardstock, Night of Navy ink pad, Night of Navy Solid Twine, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer (for cutting & scoring), Stampin' Mist & Stampin' Scrub (for cleaning red rubber stamps). {see Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll}
