Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop - Fun Folds

Today I am participating in the StampINKspirations blog hop! There are bloggers from all over the world in this hop, and I am located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the US. The theme for this month is "FUN FOLDS" and I have made a pretty simple card for you. {Product Purchase Links can be found below the Blog Roll...I can only sell to those in the US, or with an APO/FPO delivery address}

I featured the Catch You Later Cling Stamp Set for my W-Fold Card. There are several versions of this card, just search the internet to find instructions. If you know me at all, then you'll know that the kitty image is the real reason I had to have this set, but the rest of the images are also really cute. I also focused on RETIRING 2020-2022 In Color Products.

I wanted to make a card that could be used as a masculine card, so I tried to avoid any frills or bling. The RETIRING Tasteful Labels Dies are just perfect, because they are interesting shapes, but they don't have froo-froo looking flourishes on them. For the images and words on the inside, I used the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad.

To keep the outlines of the kitty nice and crisp, I stamped the image on the label using the Stamparatus, and the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. Then I LEFT the stamped label IN the Stamparatus while I colored the image with Stampin' Blends. After I was done coloring the image, I inked the stamp up again and pulled the plate of the Stamparatus right back over the top of where it had stamped before. When you do this, it keeps the ink on top of the image, and makes the lines look really crisp.
