Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - So Long, Farewell

Welcome to the APRIL 2022 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects in our hop from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so prices are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is So Long, Farewell! For my project I am using the Retiring stamp set Back On Your Feet, the Retiring In the Wild Designer Series Paper, and some of our Retiring 2020-2022 In Color products. {you'll find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post}

I actually only just purchased the Back On Your Feet stamp set, not long before the Retiring List came out, so I wanted to make sure I took the time to ink up the stamp set and use it before it's no longer available. I also wanted to make a more masculine card, and the Retiring In the Wild Designer Series Paper is not only fabulous for that, it also goes really well with Cinnamon Cider and Bumblee.

I'm really going to miss the 2020-2022 In Colors. My card base is Cinnamon Cider Cardstock, and I used the Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad to stamp the greetings. Cinnamon Cider is such a fantastic brown, with just the perfect amount of red hue. The layer under the sloth is Bumblebee Cardstock, and I used the Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends, as well as the Just Jade Stampin' Blends for the branch on which the sloth is perched. And finally, I used the Retiring Playing with Patterns Resin Dots to give the card a few accents that wouldn't be too blingy for a masculine card.

Stampin' Supplies:Back On Your Feet stamp set, Basic White Thick Cardstock, Bumblebee Cardstock, Cinnamon Cider Cardstock & Ink Pad, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad (for sloth image to color in with the following Stampin' Blends: Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Soft Suede, Ivory, Color Lifter), In the Wild Designer Series Paper, Playing with Patterns Resin Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Scrub & Stampin' Mist (to clean red rubber stamps), Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Grid Paper, Paper Trimmer. And don't forget Basic White Medium Envelopes, if you want to mail your card! {see Product Purchase Links under the Blog Roll}
