We Create Blog Hop - Stamp FREE

Welcome to the JANUARY 2022 "Stamp FREE" Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month the focus will be projects with no stamping, OR projects you can create with FREE products from the upcoming Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-a-Bration special (which debuts Jan 4th).

My project today is a card made using the Rainbow of Happiness BUNDLE, plus the Sunshine & Rainbows 6"x6" Designer Series Paper that you can get FREE during Sale-a-Bration. The Brilliant Rainbow Dies set in the BUNDLE has a cute little rainbow you can cut out, and the die also coordinates with the rainbows on one of the sheets of Designer Series Paper. I cut the rainbow out of the front of my card, then cut out the rainbow from the printed paper, then adhered those to the inside of the card for a peek-a-boo look.

I had decided to use Bermuda Bay Cardstock for my card base before I really paid much attention to the colors on the rainbow I was going to die cut. So, to make the rainbow colors stand out a little bit more, I brushed a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella over the arches I cut out. I stamped the greeting over the rainbow with the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad - it doesn't fit naturally, but since it's photopolymer, you can sort of bend it and widen the arch of the words so they fit. The words on the image are very fine, but I got a bit too much ink on them, so they show up a bit bolder than intended.

The cute little clouds are also created from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies, as well as the FREE Sunshine & Rainbows 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. I wanted to keep the tiny hearts from the paper clouds going throughout the card, so I stamped some of them using the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad on the front of the card, as well as inside. I also chose a little greeting for the inside, and again stamped it with the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.
