Welcome to the SEPTEMBER 2020 "Don't Stamp So Close to Me" Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month our projects will be something you can make without stamping! My projects are super simple Monster Corner Bookmarks, featuring the Playing with Patterns 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, and color coordinating cardstock.

I chose the Playing with Patterns 6"x6" Designer Series Paper because I felt like the fun designs and colors could make a variety of fun "monsters". All you need to do is fold the paper, and then use some circle punches or dies, to make eyes or whatever other features you want to add. When I add teeth, I usually just use my Paper Snips to do them quickly by hand. For the eyes, I like to use the Snowman Builder Punch...you can see how I get ovals to use for eyes, in THIS POST.
I'm just going to show you a video someone else created for these already, because I'm not feeling quite right, and there's really no way I can recreate the wheel right now. Basically, you can do whatever size you want, all you have to do is start with a square sheet of paper.{if you are getting this blog post via email, you'll want to click on the blog title so you can see the post in your browser, and watch the embedded video}

Aw, how cute are these?!?!?! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that book marker. Everytime you open your book it will smile at you.. Kind of reminds me of the Book Harry Potter has that you have to stroke to open or it chomps you :)
