We Create Blog Hop - Look at these Labels!

Welcome to the JULY 2020 "Look at these Labels" Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month our projects will feature anything relating to Labels - these might be a simple layer for a greeting, or involve more specialty layering with a punch or dies, or could even be a hand trimmed tag on a gift bag. My project features the NEW Arrange a Wreath BUNDLE.
{scroll to the bottom of this post for ALL product purchase links}

In the Arrange a Wreath BUNDLE, you get the Arrange a Wreath photopolymer stamp set, along with the Wreath Builder Dies. I really love the chunky artwork in the stamp set, but I am not into flowery and feminine, so I wanted to make a card that was a little more gender/occasion neutral. I decided to feature the 2020-2022 In Colors on my project, so I used my NEW favorite color, Misty Moonlight (which I keep calling "mystic moonlight"...lol), in conjunction with another NEW 2020-2022 In Color, Cinnamon Cider

The "label" in my project is actually an image from the stamp set. It does not have a coordinating die, because it's just got those straight lines along the outside, so it's super easy to trim out neatly. I wanted to pull as much of the neutral feel as I could from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, so I used Very Vanilla Cardstock to stamp on instead of white for this project. And I wanted to stick to just 2 ink colors, so I fussy cut the Misty Moonlight stamped greeting to make sure it stood out clearly over the Cinnamon Cider stamped "label".

I added a second wreath in Vellum Cardstock to soften the bold lines just a wee bit, then balanced out the greeting with the bird from the stamp set, also stamped in Cinnamon Cider. Once I had finished that, I still felt like I wanted something more than just the bird across from the greeting. The gold trim from the Forevery Green Trim Combo Pack is the perfect addition!

Stampin' Supplies: Very Vanilla Cardstock, Misty Moonlight Ink Pad & Cardstock, Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad, In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (patterned paper), Vellum Cardstock, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (I used the gold thread), Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps), Grid Paper, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer (to cut and score cardstock), Medium Very Vanilla Envelopes. {you'll need a die cutting machine for the Wreath Builder Dies}
