Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop 10: Hello New Friends

Welcome to the 10th Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! We publish the hop the first Friday of every month! You'll see projects from Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world in this blog hop. My name is Kimberley Morris, and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado (USA).

This month our theme is Hello New Friends. The goal is to feature products that are available in the NEW 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog! Demonstrators were offered a small selection of new products to preorder, in advance of the catalog going live, so I have a few new things already.

My project this month is a Boxed Card Set, and it features the Colorful Seasons stamp set along with some 2017-2019 In Color Products.

I made the card box with the Envelope Punch Board, starting with a 9" square, and scoring/punching at 3-1/2" and at 4-1/2" and following all around the card stock from each beginning measurement as you normally would for an envelope. Then I just cut a few parts off that I didn't need, and adhered the box.

TIP: When you set up a card using multiple photopolymer stamps on a single block (like I did in the background of my cards), stamp a MASTER sheet in black ink, onto white card stock. You can keep that in the stamp case with the set, and when you want to stamp that design again, lay your stamps onto the MASTER (flat side up) and then just press your clear block over all the stamps to pick them up in the same position you originally used.

If you are the type of person who makes lots of cards but who doesn't tend to get around to the sending part, this would be a great boxed set to give to someone, to ask them to join you in the #MakeACardSendACard campaign Sara Douglass (Stampin' Up! CEO) started last month. Be sure to post the cards you are sending, on social media, and use the hashtag so we can all be inspired :-D
