Another Stationery Box (Updated)

A little over two years ago I posted a stationery box that would hold 4 cards and 4 envelopes. You can check out my previous sample HERE.

Today I'm posting an updated version of that boxed set, featuring the Paisley Prints Designer Series Paper and the Four Frames stamp set, available through this month's Spring Is Blossoming Special. This would make a great Mother's Day gift--but you'll need to order the supplies on special, by 4/30/2011!

The box pattern uses an 8x12 sheet, which is ideal if you are using a sheet of Designer Series Paper. The remaining 4x12 strip can be cut into two 4x5-1/4 pieces which are the perfect size to layer on front of coordinating standard sized cards. You can theoretically get NINE BOXED SETS of 4 cards and 4 envelopes, out of one 12 sheet package of Designer Series Paper, though the printed paper patterns within each boxed set will vary. Just make sure you have a selection of coordinating card stock colors, or go with a coordinating neutral color like River Rock (like I used on my cards), or Crumb Cake.

My Digital Studio® Digital Downloads (Catalogs & Checklist)

It's been a while since I've posted anything about My Digital Studio, but it is an awesome digital crafting software program available from Stampin' Up!®, with which you can create cards, calendars, interactive slideshows, scrapbooks, and more!

Stampin' Up! also offers digital downloads a la carte, which you can install to use in your My Digital Studio software (or you can download separate versions to use in 3rd party software). There is now a catalog of all the downloads, with pictures and descriptions of each one. I also maintain a PDF list of all the available downloads, so you can check off which ones you've purchased and installed.

Eat Chocolate!

Sorry I haven't been able to post lately--my new computer actually started giving me fits and I have spent several FULL DAYS trying to do whatever I can to convince it to behave otherwise. If only computers could eat chocolate, I'm sure my computer and I could have reached a favorable compromise right away! Speaking of eating chocolate, here are some projects made with the new stamp set called Eat Chocolate:

These are super simple projects, although if you want to recreate them both exactly, it does take a number of punches, and the Big Shot. The great thing about that is, if you want to invest in those supplies right now, you can earn a bunch of FREE STAMPS with your purchase, during the Sale-A-Bration! The candy bar favor is made from one of the Two Tagz Sizzix die cut shapes...the die creates one score mark, and all you have to do is add one more score mark 2" from the flat end of the tag, as you can see below. That creates just enough oomph for the tag to fold up over a .49oz Hershey bar and hold it snug. (I found the candy bars in a 10pk at my corner drug store.)

This reminds me of the sweetest tag I've ever seen. It was on a box of Milk Chocolate covered Raspberry Caramels from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, which are absolutely my favorite treat in the whole wide world. My sweetie gave them to me, and on the tag he wrote: "To Kimberley, with lots of chocolate. I love you." Awwwww...makes me smile every time I look at the tag...which is every day, because I keep the tag right in front of my computer monitor!
