We Create Blog Hop - Flower Frenzy

Welcome to the MAY 2022 "Flower Frenzy" Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month the focus will be projects with flowers! As you may know, I'm not generally a flowery stamper...so I created something a little out of the box. I am featuring the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set, which will be available for customer purchase starting May 3rd. I also featured a few of the upcoming 2022-2024 In Colors, using Tahitian Tide Cardstock for the card base, and the Tahitian Tide Ink Pad (and some Sponge Daubers) to create the watery background. I used the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad for the fish, the Parakeet Party Ink Pad for the greenery, and the Starry Sky Ink Pad for the greeting and a few stamped bubbles. There's not a lot else to say about the card, really...if you look at the stamp set, then look at the card, you can see it was done with simple stamping. There's no masking or omitting. I just stamped images on top of one another. To add to the watery effect, I did sort of roll part of the outside of the Sponge Dauber in different places on the card front. The ink on the dauber gets a little more concentrated there, so when you roll it, you get a bit of a semi-circle, which looks kind of bubbly to me.

Since the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set has no greetings, I used the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set for that. I framed the greeting on a die from the upcoming Stylish Shapes Label Dies set. The last feature on the card is the placement of 3 dots from the upcoming Glossy Dots Assortment. The color listed on the package for the dots I used, is Pool Party. They are adhesive-backed so they are easy to use, and I thought they worked beautifully with the Tahitian Tide colored water.
