Third Thursdays Blog Hop - A Fond Farewell

Welcome once again to our Third Thursdays Blog Hop! This month our theme for the hop is A Fond Farewell! Today is another one of those hard days for me...I could NOT get up. You'd think that would be good because it would mean I was able to rest, but it wasn't really restful, unfortunately. I tried to push my way through getting things done yesterday and finally had to take a pain pill at the end of the day, which mostly just meant being so groggy I couldn't stand up this morning. I was finally able to get up and feed the cats their breakfast just past 11am (yikes).

Maybe it's fitting then, that my project is paying tribute to the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper, which will be RETIRING SOON. The Playful Pets Trinkets I used on this project are also RETIRING SOON. By the way, if you ever click on a specific product link and you can't find that product in my Online Store, that means it is not orderable, or is no longer in stock.

The Pampered Pets Stamp Set and the Pets Dies will still be in the new catalog (which goes live May 4th), but you will no longer be able to get them in a BUNDLE for 10% OFF. So, if you love these sweet little pets, you might want to purchase these while you can still get the savings.

The Playful Alphabet Dies are also fabulous for personalizing your Matchbook Mini-Album, and you can cut out the letters with Foam Adhesive Sheets backing your paper, so they stand up, and stand out. I didn't really have time to do that on this project, and I even just colored in the images with Watercolor Pencils very quickly and roughly, but it works well with these images.
