Third Thursdays Blog Hop - Time Marches On

Welcome once again to our Third Thursdays Blog Hop! This month our theme for the hop is Time Marches On! Our posts will feature projects that have something to do with time, like calendars or scrapbook pages, or anything to do with the month of March. My project includes 2019-2021 In Colors which will RETIRE May 3rd.
{you'll find Product Purchase Links for current items I've used, below the Blog Roll}

I've had a rough couple of days, then I somehow misplaced my camera this morning...then when I went to take my photo using natural light, I realized there were some marks on my window or something. You can see some diagonal shadows as if there's warping - not sure what that's about! So, I've put up this photo for now, but I'm hoping I can replace it with a better one later. For now, my cat will NOT let me get much of anything else done. She keeps scratching and biting me, trying to make me get up and get her lunch! Lol, such a spoiled little princess.

For this project, I decided to feature some of the 2019-2021 In Colors, because they will be RETIRING SOON. We will be getting a Retiring List on March 24th, but we already know these In Colors are at the end of their term. In fact, the Rococo Rose Cardstock is already out of stock and will not be replenished. You can check out the graphic below to have a look at some of the other products you might want to snap up ASAP, and if you click on the link it will take you to my Online Store where you can see all the products that include the 2019-2021 In Colors that are still in stock.

I used a lot of Seaside Spray Cardstock and Ink on this card, because it's my favorite 2019-2021 In Color. And I used Purple Posy Cardstock and Ink because I feel like it works so beautifully together with Seaside Spray. You'll have to get the 2019-2021 In Color Marker Assortment to ink up your stamps in Purple Posy, as our vendor could not keep the ink pad and refill within our quality standards. And, although you can purchase the Pretty Perennials stamp set in a BUNDLE with the coordinating Perennial Petals Dies, I chose not to use the dies for this card. I used my Paper Snips to cut around the flower that I popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. Since the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots are also going to be RETIRING SOON, I used several of them on my card, but you could easily just use one in the center of the popped up flower if you want to conserve them.

I also stamped off at least once for most images, and twice for a few others, especially when using the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad. It is so bold when it is stamped at full strength that I felt like it sort of pulled the attention away from the softer colors. This would be really pretty if you ran the Basic White Cardstock layer through the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine...but I wanted to show the card without using extra tools.

Stampin' Supplies: Pretty Perennials photopolymer stamp set, Seaside Spray Cardstock and Ink Pad, Purple Posy Cardstock, 2019-2021 In Color Markers (Purple Posy), Pretty Peacock Ink Pad, Playing with Patterns Resin Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Grid Paper, Bone Folder, Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps). And don't forget your Basic White Medium Envelopes if you want to mail your cards!

  2. I love the fonts used in this stamp set. Suitable for 1 line sentiment dies as well as chopped up as you have used them here. Lovely card with one of my favorite In Colors. I have used it so much I actually thought it was a core color. Thanks for the inspiration!
