We Create Blog Hop - Making a Splash

Welcome to the JUNE 2020 "Making a Splash" Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month our projects will feature anything relating to "making a splash" - it could be a splash of color, a new baby making a debut, beach scenes, rainscapes...anything goes!
{scroll to the bottom of this post for ALL product purchase links}

For my project, I chose a card that showcases the splash of color around me here in Colorado!  This project features the Mountain Air BUNDLE, which includes the Mountain Air Reversibles™ stamp set, along with the Majestic Mountain Dies, at a 10% Discount!

The splash of color I love most on this card is the Blueberry Bushel Cardstock used for the card base, and the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad (or substitute the Stampin' Write Marker) used for the 'AWESOME' greeting. This color is one of the 2018-2020 In Colors, which is RETIRING, so you'll want to get those color products as soon as you can. They will no longer be available after June 2, 2020. TIP: If you are getting the ink pad, or the marker for any of the 2018-2020 In Colors, please be sure you also order at least one ink refill for each color so you can use the products for many years.

While you are checking out those RETIRING In Colors, be sure to browse the rest of the Last Chance Products in My Online Store. Some of the RETIRING products are being sold at a DISCOUNT, and they are quite the find! Speaking of finding things, this card has some subtle stamping in the background that I wanted to point out in the picture above. There are some clouds, which were stamped with the Whisper White Craft Ink Pad, and a tiny cluster of birds which you could either stamp with the coordinating Balmy Blue Ink Pad, or you could use the VersaMark Ink Pad to get that tone-on-tone look.

And I included this last picture below, just for fun. I had to battle my kitty for the sunbeams in order to get a nice picture, so I thought it only fitting that I include the picture of her cute, round kitty toes for your entertainment! Oh...and just by way of disclosure, this card was designed by another demonstrator here in Colorado - it's another of those cards I made at a shoebox swap event.
