We Create Orange You Spooky Blog Hop

Welcome to the October 2019 Orange You Spooky Blog Hop!!! We generally hop on the first of every month, and this month we are creating projects using some of the many "orange" colors from Stampin' Up! My projects feature products from the Monster Bash Suite in the recently debuted 2019 Holiday Catalog. {scroll to the bottom of this post for ALL product purchase links}

I took a few different kinds of Fun Size and Bite Size candy bars, wrapped them in the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper, and decorated them with 'creepy' and 'spooky' greetings from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set. I also used the coordinating Ornate Frames Dies for some fun frames and scrolly embellishment.

In the pictures above and below, you can see how I used the Timeless Label Punch (with Basic Black Cardstock) behind the greeting, to look like a tombstone! I actually cut each punched piece in half and was able to make two two tombstones from one punch. The greetings were cut out with little tags from the coordinating Ornate Frames Dies.

As I mentioned, all the candy bars are wrapped in Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. There are 6 different double-sided designs in each package - I've only shown two of the designs on my candy bars. TIP: if you glue the DSP to itself instead of to the candy bar wrapper, you can just slide the candy bar out of the sleeve to eat it. This is actually kind of a dangerous tip...because you can replace the candy bars so easily. šŸ˜³ Just don't make these while you're snacky!

In the pictures above and below, you can see the detail of the scrolly frames peeking out from under the monster "pictures" that I cut from one of the sheets of the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. This preprinted paper is so cute - and everyone who sees it just loves it, so do yourself a favor and STOCK UP on this paper while supplies last!!!

  1. These are so cute! I like that you used a variety of the dies to make your labels. :)
