NEW Third Thursdays Blog Hop - Fall Occasions

So...I decided to start a new blog hop for the Third Thursdays of each month, because my life is just not busy enough! Lol, yeah, right. But seriously, it was kind of a big blank spot on my blogging calendar, and I wanted to make some new stamping friends, so here we are! This month our theme for the hop is Fall Occasions, and I love HALLOWEEN, so I'm featuring products from the Toil & Trouble Suite.
{you'll find individual Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll}

This project was made with the Gift Bag Punch Board. I started with a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock that was 6-3/4" x 11" and followed the instructions on the Punch Board to make a Medium bag. To make the flap, I cut a 3-1/8" x 1-3/4" scrap from the sheet I originally used. I punched the flap shape (using the Punch Board) on each side of the piece, then scored it at about 3/8" along the back side, and adhered it inside the box. The Basic Black Cardstock layer is 2-7/8" x 3-3/4", and the Gray Granite Cardstock layer is 2-5/8" x 3-1/2". I'll make a video for you later, I just want to give you the instructions in the meantime!

I tied a square knot around the top of the box, using the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and the Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon together. I dabbed just a bit of SNAIL Adhesive here and there on the back of the Grape ribbon to help keep it in place while I tied the knot. If you have to pick just one ribbon, I definitely suggest the Glittered ribbon, it's AMAZING! By the way, when  you tie a square knot like this around the top of the box, the recipient of your gift can simply slide the whole thing off...then put it back on again. There's no need for them to untie anything, and the flap is not adhered closed so they don't need to tear it up to get inside, either. I love making my handmade packaging easy to re-gift!

The little web in the corner was cut with one of the coordinating Cauldron Framelits Dies. I used a couple of Mini Glue Dots to tack down the web in just a couple of places. You could use our Fine Tip Glue instead if you wanted, but I'm too impatient for that! The witch was also cut with the same dies - the shape coordinates with one style of the witches that's preprinted on the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper. You'll also notice the little Glitter Enamel Shapes in this picture. They are actually from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog rather than the 2018 Holiday Catalog, but they coordinate beautifully!

And finally, I thought this saying was perfect to use along with the Glitter Enamel Shapes, because they kinda look like little bubbles! Oh, and I forgot to mention, but that Gray Granite Cardstock layer was run through the Big Shot, using the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder to give it some texture. Then I sponged it with the Highland Heather ink, which is the same color I used for the greeting. You could use our Momento Tuxedo Black ink pad for that greeting if you wanted, but I was trying to keep this project to just one ink pad.
