Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Coming Soon!

Welcome to the January 2025 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects in our hop from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices mentioned are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is Coming Soon! My project today is for Valentine's Day, since that is coming soon. I featured the Mini Pocket Envelope Die because it was on the Last Chance Products section of my store...but it appears to be sold out now! The Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and coordinating Bee Builder Punch are still available, though.
{you can find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post}

The Mini Pocket Envelope Die being sold out is a big reason you will want to go check out the products on the Last Chance Products section of my store as soon as you can. Just a heads up, my Stampin' Up! store no longer has a "Clearance Rack", and this is because the Last Chance Products section is going to stay up year round. The retiring products will be placed in that section of the store, and will be there ONLY while supplies last. Some of the products are up to 60% off, and while BUNDLES will still be available at a 10% discount while all bundle items are still available, you may want to check the Last Chance Products section to see if one or both individual items may have a greater discount when purchased individually.

 Back to my project for today. I created a box using the Mini Pocket Envelope Die, and I decorated it with the Iconic Celebrations 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. There are 4 sheets of patterned paper in this package that have the hearts on one side. There are clinking champagne glasses on the other side, and that's why I made the box with Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. I wanted to adhere the paper to the cardstock so the back design didn't show. I didn't put anything in the box because I haven't gone shopping for any Valentine's Day treats yet this year. The box is 1-1/2" deep, and 2-3/8" wide. The front of the box is shorter, at about 3" high, and the back is about 4" tall at the peak.

Stampin' Supplies: Bee My Valentine stamp set and Bee Builder Punch, Pretty in Pink Cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Cardstock & Ink Pad, Iconic Celebrations 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, Mini Pocket Envelope Dies (sold out), Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Simply Shammy (for cleaning photopolymer stamps), and Grid Paper. *You will need a die-cutting machine, like the Stampin' Cut & Emboss, to use the dies.

We Create Blog Hop - Something Old, Something New

Welcome to the JANUARY 2025 "Something Old, Something New" Blog Hop! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month our theme will focus on anything "old" and/or anything "new"! My projects once again feature the Snowy Scenes 12"x12" Designer Series Paper from the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. {scroll down below the Blog Roll for ALL product purchase links}

I am going to kind of cheat a bit with this post, because my facial nerve pain has been excruciating and I haven't been able to get back to crafting for about a month now. So, I'm going to show you some older projects that are new to my blog, since I never posted them here. At the beginning of December I showed you a 3"x4" Layered Designer Series Paper Card in this POST, and I left that post with a picture of how I was going to lay out 3 more cards with that same design. I did actually finish those other 3 cards, so here they are in a set of four.

In this POST on December 1st, I showed you a little gift box that I made with the holly/stripes sheet of the Snowy Scenes 12"x12" Designer Series Paper. I also made a Diagonal Joy Fold Card using that same sheet. The Pecan Pie Cardstock flap with the snowman on it lifts up, then you can open the bottom diagonal flap to see the rest of the inside of the card.

Stampin' Supplies: Snowy Wonder BUNDLE (stamp set + coordinating dies), Basic White Cardstock, Crumb Cake Cardstock, Pecan Pie Cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, Poppy Parade Ink Pad, Garden Green Ink Pad, Pool Party Ink Pad, Snowy Scenes 12"x12" Designer Series Paper, Pool Party Pompom Ribbon, White Snowflakes (out of stock), Linen Thread, Faceted Gem Stones Trio, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Simply Shammy (for cleaning photopolymer stamps), and Grid Paper. Don't forget your Basic White Medium Envelopes if you want to mail your card. *You will need a die-cutting machine, like the Stampin' Cut & Emboss, to use the dies.
