Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Orange You Spooky

Welcome to the OCTOBER 2025 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects in our hop from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices mentioned are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is Orange You Spooky! My project today features a stamp set, and coordinating dies, which can now be found in the Online Exclusives section of my online store, even though it was released in the 2024 September-December Mini Catalog.
{you can find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post}

Before I go any further I want to tell you that the coordinating DIES are on the LAST CHANCE products category in My Online Store, and as of the time of this post, they are on SALE for only $14 USD. The stamp set is listed at $25 USD. You can currently get the stamp set and dies in a Bundle for $47.50, but if you can grab the dies and stamp set separately, you can get them for only $39 USD (instead of $47.50)!!! So, go grab them before they are gone.

To make these cards, I used a template that Stampin' Up! shared with us Demonstrators during a free online event. You can see a picture of the template below, and Download/View the PDF HERE.

You can see the sample cards made from templates 1-6 on page 42 of the 2025 September - December Mini Catalog, which feature products from the Autumn Toile Suite . I took a picture of how I numbered my page. Although, because I was using a Designer Series Paper (DSP) that only had patterns and NO images, and because my paper was 6" x 6", my process for the cards was just a wee bit different. The originally intended parameters were:
1) Blending Brush on DSP
2) Color Images on DSP
3) Cut Images Out from DSP
4) Cut Out a Shape from DSP
5) Stamp Onto DSP
6) Enhance Pattern on DSP with Blends

I did most of these techniques, except for #6, using Blends on the DSP. If you are interested in me making a video of how I put together my cards, I'm happy to do that, just let me know.

Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - School Days

Welcome to the AUGUST 2025 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects in our hop from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices mentioned are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is School Days! My project today features a stamp set which can now be found in the Online Exclusives section of my online store, even though it was released in the 2024 September-December Mini Catalog.
{you can find all Product Purchase Links below the Blog Roll near the bottom of the post}

The "School Days" theme makes me think of Fall, and the stamp set I used is called More Than Autumn. It is actually still available in a BUNDLE (with coordinating dies) at a discounted price. This rarely happens - the discount is usually removed from bundled products that appear in a catalog, after the end of a publication period. So, go grab the discounted bundle while you can!

To make the pumpkin on this card, I used the Modern Oval Punch. I made curved score marks on the pumpkin with my Bone Folder, and shaded the edges of each oval using Sponge Daubers. I hand snipped the Granny Apple Green Cardstock to get the look of grass, and curled little skinny strips to get the look of vine around the stem. The stem was hand trimmed, and I stamped words over and over at the top of it to give it some shading. I also hand trimmed out the fence pieces. I know...so extra. But I knew how I wanted it to look. For the sky color, I crumpled up a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock, then smoothed it out. That gave it just a touch of texture.

Behind the pumpkin stem, I placed a mini "velcro" closure. The pumpkin is only adhered to the bottom panel of the card front, so the pumpkin was holding the card shut, but it just wasn't holding it as flat as I wanted without the "velcro" dot. The front panel with the pumpkin folds down, too, but I thought the picture would look super boring, being opened to just plain cardstock!

To get the background looking the way I wanted, I attached a line of multiple words to a bigger block, so I could stamp a line at a time. I offset every other line.
