We Create Blog Hop - Christmas in July

Welcome to the JULY 2024 "Christmas in July" Blog Hop! We generally hop on the first day of every month, and this month our theme will focus on Christmas (or Winter Celebrations). My project today features products from the Iconic Celebrations Suite Collection, from the NEW Online Exclusives which will be available for customer order on July 3rd. {scroll down below the Blog Roll for ALL product purchase links}

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to preorder products about a month early. I love snowflakes, so between the stamp images in the Iconic Imagery Stamp Set, and the snowflakes in the coordinating Iconic Celebrations 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, PLUS the coordinating Iconic Imagery Dies...I put together a nice little collection of several different snowflakes for my card front. There are some fun, simple techniques that I used on this card with the stamps, to get the variations on the snowflakes...I'll show you those in another post. But look at the cool labels that are included with the dies:

And below are the images of the fronts and backs of the Iconic Celebrations 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (DSP). On the snowflakes design, there are 3 different snowflakes printed in White on the Misty Moonlight sheet. One of the designs is the same as the snowflake stamp image, and the other two are different. I cut out one of each of those two different images from the DSP with the Iconic Imagery Dies, to add to the 3 stamped snowflakes on my card.

The background layer was made with our Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder - we've had that one for a while, but it is PERFECT to use with this new Suite of products! And I'm so glad we have some thin white grosgrain ribbon again...it goes with everything and it can be dyed with reinkers to match any of our colors! This White 3/8" Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon is soft and pliable, and it lies quite nicely on your project without giving it a bunch of bulk.

Here's one more look at the card from a different view...if you expand/enlarge the picture, you can see the "ribboned" detail of those dots. You can also see a bit more of the detail of the stamped snowflakes:
