Third Thursday Blog Hop - Mix & Match

Welcome once again to our Third Thursdays Blog Hop! This month our theme for the hop is Mix & Match! This theme will allow us to feature RETIRING items from the Last Chance Sale, or upcoming NEW items from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog (debuting May 3rd), items that will be carrying over into that new catalog...or a mishmash of any of those items! I chose to feature some new things, along with a carryover item - the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.
{you'll find Product Purchase Links for current items I've used, below the Blog Roll}

I'm really featuring the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set that will be in the upcoming catalog, along with all of the upcoming 2022-2024 In Colors, as well as a new die set called Stylish Shapes. But, I wanted to make sure I was still using supplies you can buy right now, as well. The new stamp set is totally just floral and foliage, there are no greetings in it, which makes the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set the perfect companion for a card set!

To make a card set like this, you stamp on a sheet of 8-1/2"x11" Basic White Cardstock. If I remember my maths correctly, the placement of the images would be over the X axis and the Y axis you might imagine over the sheet.

Then you cut the sheet into quarters. If you are putting them on a card base, and want some of that card base to show, you will want to trim a little bit off each quarter. If you are clever, you can do that first by taking 1/4" off each edge of your whole sheet before you cut your quarters. I was not clever, so I tried to ensure that I took the extra bits off my quarters on the two sides that would have been the outside edges if I had, indeed, remembered!

The 2022-2022 In Colors are: Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Night, and Orchid Oasis. I used all 5 of those In Color ink pads to stamp the florals and foliage, and then used Orchid Oasis for my card bases and greetings. I like all 3 of the new blues in the upcoming In Colors, but for today my favorite is Orchid Oasis.

Stampin' Supplies (Items in RED will be available to customers May 3rd): Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set, Basic White Cardstock, Orchid Oasis Ink Pad & Cardstock, Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad, Parakeet Party Ink Pad, Tahitian Tide Ink Pad, Starry Night Ink Pad, Stylish Shapes Dies, Sponge Daubers, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Seal, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Grid Paper, Bone Folder, Stampin' Scrub & Stampin' Mist (to clean red rubber stamps), Simply Shammy (to clean photopolymer stamps), Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (or you can use the Mini). And don't forget to grab some Basic White Medium Envelopes for mailing your cards!

  1. Kim, fantastic way to show how to create multiple panels for multiple cards. Love the way you have it all put together.
