Christmas Card Club 3 - Joy Banner Card

This is another of the 5 cards we made last weekend at my third Christmas Card class of the season. We make 10 cards, that's two each of 5 different designs. If you live in the Colorado Springs area, check out my Event Calendar to see what else I have planned--I'd love to have you come stamp with me! This card features the A Banner Christmas stamp set. Many of my cards are inspired by the work of other demonstrators, and this design was inspired by Tanya Bell in Australia:

Instructions:
1)   Cut Crumb Cake card stock to 5-1/2" by 8-1/2", then score to create a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card base with the fold at the top.
2)   Cut another strip of Crumb Cake card stock to 5-1/4" x 2". You can actually use whatever other coordinating color you want, as this will be covered by patterned paper.
3)   Cut 3 coordinating strips of Season of Style Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 1-3/4" x 2".
4)   Adhere the coordinating DSP to the 5-1/4" x 2" piece of card stock. If there are any bits of the card stock on the ends that you did not cover with the DSP, trim away the exposed card stock.
5)   Wrap an 18" piece of Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon around the DSP layer you just completed, and tie in a square knot. Trim ribbon ends in 'V' shape.
6)   Run the front of the Crumb Cake card base through the Big Shot, using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
7)   Adhere the DSP layer to the top front of the embossed card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
8)   Stamp the 'JOY' image in Baked Brown Sugar ink, onto Whisper White card stock. Trim each letter of the banner out individually, and attach to card front with Mini Glue Dots, as shown.
9)   Stamp Whisper White Medium Envelope with 'JOY' image, in Baked Brown Sugar ink, if desired.
10) Affix appropriate postage, and mail card!
